There is no orange
Child first approaches the orange citrus fruit plush toy sitting on the floor. Upon picking up the toy and examining it, the child notices that there is something inside the toy peeking out through the space between the peels. Since the bottom of the toy is sealed shut, the child then attempts to pull at the top of the toy where the leaf sits. The leaf gives way easily to the child tugging at it, and the first peel that is attached to the leaf falls off to reveal partially the center of the toy. The child sees a soft ball with wiggly eyes and is (hopefully) amused and intriuged as to what the entire center is like, so the child continues to peel off the outer layer. What is left is a soft white ball of eyes that can be tossed around like a normal plush ball. When finished, the child can then wrap the ball back up in the outer orange peel to return it back to the first state. This is how the child “keeps his eyes peeled,” literally.
For children ages 3 to 6.
