Budget
Option #1
Use the already existing Barbershop space in the Grange, so that would cut a lot of the costs out for supplies. Ask barbor how much it would cost to rent out for 2 hours.
Option #2
2 Barber chairs, tables for “vanities”, two mirrors or one large mirror, scissors, glasses, fake hair (real or we cut wigs), projector for lobby (entrance to 100 Mc Caul), Sign, paints, spray bottles, smocks (possibly smocks for us) and shavers.
Scenario
There once were two 3rd year students that went to OCAD named Tom and Judy. Tom and Judy we’re a couple on and off since first year and always bickered a fought over everything. One day they were walking down the hallway on the first floor arguing as usual and they came across a sign that was outside of room 167 that said “FREE virtual haircuts. They decided to blow off their steam and went in to get these “haircuts”. In the room were two vanities with barber chairs, it was what appeared to be what looked like a real barbershop. They sat down in their chairs and the “barbers” put smocks over their clothes, opaque sunglasses over their eyes and headphones on their ears. “Hello I’m Luigi I will be your virtual Barbour today…..” This was the voice coming from their headphones. Stunned and confused with all the sounds of chopping, buzzing and clipping they both feared that maybe this was really happening. They could feel air blowing on the backs of their necks chilling their spines and something touching their hair! The worst was when they could feel hair falling over their shoulders and onto their laps. Overwhelmed with anxiety the haircuts were finally finish, the glasses come off and the reveal is…………………………………...
They’re fine! It was all in their heads……literally; they look at each other and laugh totally forgetting about their differences because of their AWESOME experience!
THE END
