Our Design Refinements

Hi class, below is what we collectively decided for our design so far.

Each team should present updates related to their team role next class. Please see the list below to help you brainstorm and prototype for next week. I suggest you make your presentations as professional as possible. Try to sell your well thought out and well illustrated ideas to the class :-)

1. We are designing the virtual "haircut" experience with no headphones for simulation, but bringing people into what looks, sounds, feels, smells like a salon
2. The user will have their eyes open throughout the entire process
3. We are hoping to use room 187
4. There will be a digital manipulation of the user's face as an extension of the virtual "haircut" (methods to be determined)
5. We still have to decide if we are going to keep it simple i.e. only offer a haircut, or add other services such as hair, makeup, nails, scalp massage etc...
6. We have to determine if we're going to have a waiting area, but this will depend on how much space we get. I'll let you know once the spaces for all classes are confirmed
7. As far as technology goes, we've only decided we want speakers for sound simulations. We still have to determine our tech needs for the digital manipulation depending on how we do this
