Have you ever heard of 'Transparent TV'?Claro created an innovation in television with a visual design aesthetic for future TV system which is a glass TV combined with media system utilising holographic technology. The holoscreen displays any image from a projector at a specific angle on to a transparent display within all other light is ignored. This makes the bright and sharp quality of image.
Because I am interested in industrial design especially in electronic products such as tv, cell phone, laptop.. this design became the inspirational design to me.
It is accessible and usable to everyone without modification. Television is the number one object which people can release stress, for relax and enjoy. People who can enjoy television can enjoy this product, also it is operable to disabled people with using a remote controller to enjoy this design. The design is very simple just a plane screen with a small projector, every user can easily understand the design. Transparent colour also adds simplicity to the design.This unique design gives perceptibility to customer. Comparing to other television, the design is very simple. The screen is 1.5m x 1.0m rectangle of 10mm glass with a 610mm x 814mm sheet of translucent attached to it. It does not require that much space to enjoy it comparing to normal tv(forgiveness). Also it provide remarkably bright and sharp image than other television. From this, people desire to have this design from great capacity, high tech and simple design.
2)Aesthetic-Usability Effect: Because the screen has no buttons, it looks easier to use than other product. From having a simple, transparent, thin designed screen, it creates attractiveness bias, feeling of loyalty, high tech.
3) Ockham's Razor: From deleting unnecessary parts and using a transparent colour, it creates cleaner, pure effect. No buttons, no electronic wires, no colour. Old design tv has giant scale of monitor, complexed wires and heavy weight.
4) Performance Versus Preference: Because it requires projector, screen does not have to be in a huge scale, the user does not have to provide large space for this design comparing to normal tv. Also from having a extremely thin and transparent screen, the image on the screen looks more bright, clean, sharp, detailed.
